The Shibori Collection
The shibori collection is a collection of one-of-a-kind bags dyed naturally by hand using shibori, or folding, techniques. Each panel of these bags has been folded, tied or clamped by hand to create a unique pattern.
The linings have been carefully selected to set-off the colours in the panel as the waxed cotton has a slight translucent quality.
The dyes used in this collection are tea and iron to get black and grey shades, and avocado skins to get pink and purple shades.
Each bag is completely unique and one of a kind, please refer to pictures.
If you are looking for a particular pattern and size please get in touch with me to work on a bespoke piece.

*** Waxed Canvas ***
All the waxed canvas items in my shop have been made with organic and fairtrade cotton canvas I have dyed by hand using natural dyes. I then proceed to wax the fabric by hand.
Waxed cotton makes a very reliable, sturdy waterproof and eco-friendly fabric.

Waxed cotton is sensitive to heat. To clean, soak in cold or tepid water with soap. Do not run in a hot wash as it will strip the wax off!
I recomend spot cleaning with a damp cloth or pulling the lining out to wash it in warm water.
- Do not iron or tumble dry or expose to heat.
- Can be re-waxed if needed.
